LeRoy T. Carlson, Jr. is vice chair of TDS, Inc. In addition to serving on the TDS Board of Directors, he is a director at Array Digital Infrastructure (NYSE:AD), a TDS subsidiary, and the chair and director of TDS Telecommunications LLC, TDS’ wholly owned wireline subsidiary. Carlson joined the company in 1974 as a vice president. He was named president in 1981 and CEO in 1986, two titles he held until January 2025. He is the former board chair of UScellular.
Carlson received an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and a BA from Harvard College.
